It seems extraordinary to be sitting outside in the sun composing this blog––in February! When I wrote the first draft of The Phoenix Enigma four years ago I set the scene in chapter 1 as, “February was waiting to give way to March, trees were in bright spring leaf, primroses and daffodils glowed in sunlit clearings…”
I was describing a future world where temperatures have increased with all kinds of weird and often destructive consequences. Some nice weather in winter was one of the few pleasant examples, and here we are 4 years later––with it already happening now! Time to get the book onto Amazon before I have to update it again…
